The Willmar Area Women’s Fund (WAWF) is committed to bridging the gap between essential resources and the women and children who need them most. Through strategic grant funding, we help sustain critical services that provide safety, stability, and hope ensuring that individuals in crisis and those seeking long-term empowerment receive the support they deserve.

Over the past year, WAWF has provided funding to a variety of impactful programs that serve women and children in Kandiyohi County. These grants have strengthened organizations working in areas such as housing stability, domestic violence prevention, mental health support, and educational access, directly addressing the pressing challenges that exist within our community. By collaborating with local partners, we ensure funding reaches the programs that fill urgent gaps and create lasting change.

The power of giving is transformational, and every contribution plays a role in strengthening the foundation of our community. When women and children are supported with resources for growth and recovery, they can break cycles of hardship, pursue opportunities, and build brighter futures. The Willmar Area Women’s Fund recognizes the importance of community-driven solutions and is honored to provide grants that uplift, empower, and inspire.

By working together, we can continue to turn generosity into action. Your support makes a meaningful difference in closing gaps, sustaining essential services, and ensuring that women and children across Kandiyohi County have the opportunity to thrive.
